The fashion show at House of Fraiser,Birmingham, was themed by the 1940s and included fashion and style inspired by that period.
The clothes were picked from the rails of house of fraiser including Therapy,Linea and Lauren by Ralf Lauren.
I had to create a 1940s make up look on all the 10 models,so i went with a very natural make up base with baby pink blusher. On the eyes i used a very light brown look with cat flick eyes and lashings of mascara (all black of course for that real American starlet look) The models eyebrows were all penciled in quite heavily,as the big brow was popular back then. I drew on a beauty spot and this was all the rage for the 1940s period. Then i did the lips a very bright red to complete the look!
All the make up i used was by MAC.
